Julia married at age 17 but if the Samual Martin in Shortcreek Twp., Harrison Co., Ohio in the 1840 census is the right Samuel Martin, he was much older than she and appears to have had several children by a previous wife. Papers from Andrew Richison's estate and all the lawsuits indicate that Julia was a widow.

NOTES: She was married 1) Samuel Martin on 2 Oct 1834 in Clark Co, Ohio (IGI 01252 Ohio, p.44,580 and Miami Valley Ohio Genealogical Index) and 2) Townsend T. Larkin on 30 Jun 1841 in Clark Co, Ohio (IGI 01223 Ohio, p.31,1081). In the 1880 Illinois Census she is found living with her son Edgar and his wife, Etta, in Westfield, Bureau Co, IL. (LDS #1254177).

BURIED: Lost Grove Cemetery which is in Bureau County, IL, Westfield Township, Section 8, just outside of the town of Arlington at the end of Prospect Ave. Tombstone gives her BD as 13 Aug 1817. She was buried with her husband and son, Emor R. who died Oct 21, 1857 at age 6yr, 8 mo, 19d
