      Elizabeth claims to have had 8 children in the 1900 census, with all of them still living, but only 7 are listed in this household



      Joel W. Turner was listed as a ch of Elizabeth in the estate of Henry C. Wilkerson in 1938 but James T. was not. That means Joel was still alive in 1938 but was no longer living in the Joseph Turner household in 1900. James either died between the 1900 census and 1938 or the administrators did not yet know of him or his whereabouts.
