Boards > Localities > North America > United States > States > Indiana > Counties > Huntington Subject: Demming Richison Obtituary Author: maxine burns lindle Date: 23 Jun 1999 12:00 PM GMT Email:mlindle710@aol.com Farmer is found dead by Grandson Rites to be held at Lafontaine for Demming Richison, 83 Demming Richison, 83, was found dead in bed at his home in Lafontaine route one,a t 7:30 am saturday by his grandson, Kenneth Dean Richison, who lves nearby, according to a report issued by Sheriff Harry Walter. Walter is the acting coroner in the absence of Dr. G.M. Nie. Mr. Richison had been under the care of a physician approximately three yrs for a heart condition, the sheriff reported it is believed he died at approx 4 am saturday. Mr. Richison was bonr sept 22, 1872 in Huntington county, to William and sarah Ludrick Richison. He was married aug 24, 1895 to Flora A. Rinker, who died Nov 2, 1946. Survivors: 2 daughters: Mrs. Eva May Helm of Wabash, Mrs. Georgia M. Burns of Lancaster, two sons: Austin Richison of Kokomo, Kenneth Richison of Lafontaine route one, nine grandchildren, six great=grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Rinhart of Huntington. Richison, a retired farmer lived in Huntington County, one mile south and a mile west of Banquo on the Huntington Wabash county line. He was a member of the Union Chapel CHurch in Grant county. Friends may call after 1 pm sunday at eh Brennerman Funeral home, Lafontaine Funeral Services will he held at 2 pm monday inthe Union Chapel church.
