Truman A. Richison

Bladen resident Truman A. Richison, 88, died, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Bladen with the Rev. Baldeo Singh officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Simonson-Williams Furner Home is in hcarge of arrangements.
Mr. Richison was born July 15, 1909, to Robert and Anna (Lutz) Richison on a farm north of Bladen in Adams County. He attended rural Grand Prairie and Patterson schools. He graduated from Bladen High School in 1928. On Jan. 17, 1940, he married Lera Preston in Hastings. They farmed in the Bladen Are. In 1976 they moved in to Bladen.
He was a member of Bladen United Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mary ann McCartney of Hastings and Margie Ebbert of Thornton, Colo.; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
