  PARENTS The death certificate of John Hardin Childress lists Lindsay Childress and Elizabeth Weaver as his parents. If that is correct, Edith J.'s appearance in the 1870 census makes it very likely they are her parents as well. BIRTH Edith's birth is Feb 1861 in the 1900 census. February may be the correct month but Edith appeared in the 1860 US census in the Linse Childress household so she could not have possibly been born in 1861.
