Two sisters, Mrs. Susie and Mrs. Sarah Burgin are survived and sisters, America and Carrie are deceased...died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Simpson Burgin...was also a sister of L.D. who died last week...another brother, William H. is at the point of death at his home in Whitstown...dau of Francis Asbury and Katherine Webb Pavey...Miss Pavey was almost 74."

Born in Fayetter Co, IN, moved from Fayette Co to Vermillion Co when he was 4, lived there 9 years, moved to Putnam Co, IN, then after one year moved to Boone Co, IN, in 1863, 3 ¼ miles west of Zionsville … Flora died 26 Oct 1907 … 3 Children: Arthur, of Zionsville, md: Opal Moore in Boone Co, IN, March 5, 1910 (Zionsville Times, 19 Feb., 1920…Max Arthur Pavey, eldest child of Arthur and Opal Pavey, b: 24 Aug., 1907 died at the age of 12.       From Ruth Caldwell’s notes (she found in the Fayette Co, IN court records … Civil Court - Complete Records, Vol. D-E, 1829-1838, FHL film #03469748, State vs. Dehaven et al, case - 8 Mar 1830, pg. 98; 12-man jury … she said she left blank places where she couldn’t make out some words. Also, she never found out the outcome):
      That Daniel Dehaven, Richard Dehaven, William Botkin, Wm. Monteith, Watson Monteth, SAMUEL PAVEY, JR., Lorenzo PAVEY, George U. PAVEY, Cinthe DENNY, Freeborn PAVEY, Harriett PAVEY and Daniel Lane - all late of Co. of Fayette on 14 Nov 1829 “with force and arms did riotously, raucously, tumultuously and unlawfully gather and assemble together upon a common ground with intent…to commit an affray…by fighting together in a public place to the terror of the good citizens.” They made a great noise and disturbance for a long time.”



      *”The Pioneers of Madison and Hancock Counties, Indiana” by Samuel Harden … Madison Co, IN, Fall Creek twp Early Settlers, pg. 31, lists George Pavy family, Wesly Pavy family. (This is the county and twp that Samuel Pavey II owned property in, and died, 8/20/1851.)

      **Mary Williamson (Isgrig) Pavey and Anna Jones (Isgrig) Pavey were sisters, both daughters of William and Agnes (Rutter) Isgrig.
