      [Handwritten at the top of each article was "1944" and between the two articles "Brother &
      sister." Along the left side was written "Both died the same day" even though it would appear from the articles they did not die the same day.
      "DEATHS
      Pennville, Ind., April 2 -- Frank A. RICHARDSON, 81, retired carpenter, died at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon at his home here. Mr. RICHARDSON was a former resident of Muncie, moving to Pennville seven years ago. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Margaret SECREST of Muncie; one brother, Charles A. RICHARDSON of Muncie; four sons, Dallas Ray of Winchester, William of Detroit, Mich., Burley Oral of Dayton, O., and Guy RICHARDSON of Dayton, O., and one daughter, Miss Sylvia RICHARDSON.
      Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Friends Church in Pennville with the Rev. Lee Tyndall officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bryant. Friends may call at the Polhemus funeral home in Pennville.

      Pennville, Ind., March 31--Mrs. William A. BEARD, 70, lifelong resident of Jay County, died last night at her home here after one year's illness. Besides the husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ward WILLIAMS of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Mrs. Francis REILLY of New Bedford, Mass.; eight grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Margaret SECREST of Muncie, and two brothers, Charles A. RICHARDSON of Muncie and Frankk RICHARDSON of Pennville. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Friends Church here. The Rev. Lee Tyndall and the Rev. Corbin Ludlow will officiate. Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bryant.

      DEATH: Death records for Pennville were destroyed by fire and some can only be obtained from the state. I checked Jay Co. for Carrie's record in Jun 1994 and nothing was found. Try state.

      [Bryant, Indiana is seven or eight miles north of Portland, Indiana on State Road 27. Once you reach Bryant, turn west on Main Street. and go about a mile or so and you will run right into the cemetery.

      Frank Albert and Sarah Jane's graves are located in the first northeast most section to the north of the gazebo type structure in the cemetery.

      In addition to Frank Albert's grave, George A. and Cenith M. Richison are buried here. Also William A. and Carrie Alice Richison Beard. There is a grave for Baby Wesley Hough that seems to belong to one of these families but have not been able to place him.]
