      Presley Forgey deceased:
      On application and the court being satisfied that the widow of said Presley Forgey deceased has relinquished her rights to administer on said estate in favor of John Forgey, the court appoints said John Forgey administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, monies and effects, which were of the said Presley Forgey deceased at the time of his death, who is to enter into a bond in the sum of two thousand four hundred dollars, for the faithful discharge of his duties, with Reuben Wallace and Stewart Forgey his securities: and therefore on application of said administrator, William A. Servise, John Lawson and Henry Brandenburg were appointed appraisers of said estate, and said administrator was sworn in open court.

      And the court was then adjourned.

      Rachel Forgy aged 15 years 15th next September & Rhoda Forgy aged 13 years 19th Feby last come into court and choose, and the court appoint the said Andrew Richison Guardian of Pauline aged 10 years, Joel aged 6 years, Jeremiah aged 4 years and Margaret aged 2 years, all of whom are minor chilren and heir of Presley Forgy dec'd and the court order that said Guardian gives bond in the amount of sixteen hundred dollars with Abraham Smith his security.
      Andrew would be the brother-in-law of Jemima Cory Forgy as she was a sister to his first wife Lavinia Cory.
