Know all men by these presents that we Samuel Black & William Pavey are held and firmly bound, unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the just and full sum of fifty pounds, current money, and for payment, well and truly to be made and done to the said Commonwealth, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly, severally and firmly, by these presents, sealed and dated this 23rd day of June 1813
The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas, a marriage is shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Samuel Black and Sally Pavey Now should there be no lawful cause to obstruct said marriage, then the above obligation to be void, else to remain in full force.
